The New York State Police and Albany Medical Center's Forensic Examiner Program are pleased to present Bill Smock, MS, MD (Medical Director for the Institute of Clinical Forensic Medicine and Nursing and Police Surgeon for the Louisville Metro Police Department) for a two-day conference on Forensic Clinical Medicine & Investigations at the New York State Police Academy from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Registration
from 7:00 am to 8:00 am).
This free two-day conference is presented by the New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit and Albany Medical Center's Forensic Examiner Program, with funding from the Division of Criminal Justice Services.
The target audience for this training includes law enforcement, campus public safety, prosecutors and medical professionals including RN’s, Emergency Department Physicians, Trauma Surgeons, and Sexual Assault Examiners.
Albany Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This program will be awarded a maximum of 16.0 continuing nursing education contact hours.
